FoAKS Summer Fete 2026!
Our school community were really proud to host our annual summer fete which was generously organised by our brilliant FoAKS team. The aim of the fete provided a community gathering and an opportunity to raise funds for the school. We saw enterprise in action with all classes budgeting for different activities/products and selling them to make a profit for the school e.g. Class R made and sold festival headbands and wands using Forest School materials.
As always, a huge thank you to everybody who volunteered their time to make the event happen for our school. From setting up to clearing up to donating raffle prizes – we are really grateful! We would like to thank Wiltshire Fire Service for attending and educating the children with their fire vehicle and making it really fun with their water activity! A huge thank you to the school choir who sang beautifully and Mr Tanner for all of the sports and water games – this kept the children cool in the afternoon sunshine! It was brilliant to have our headteacher, Mrs Saville, and her band ‘Hard to Handle’ playing throughout the afternoon and the children enjoyed dancing and singing along. A huge thank you to everybody who attended this really successful community event whilst raising money for our school.
