Starting School

Welcome from the headteacher :

Starting school is an important milestone in your child’s life. At Ashton Keynes we aim to make the transition between home and school as smooth as possible. We aim to do this by forging strong links between parents, carers and the school and we are justly proud of our family ethos.

Children are valued as individuals and form an important part of a happy and stimulating whole school environment. We are delighted you have chosen Ashton Keynes CE Primary School for your child and we warmly welcome you to be part of Team AK.

We look forward to supporting you and your child on their exciting learning journey through our school where we know they will shine.  We hope that you will embrace the many opportunities to help your child and the school community so we can all reach for the stars and aspire to be the best school we can be.

My door is always open and I look forward to working with you and your child.

EYFS Team :

Our aim is to give you a brief overview of what your child’s first year at school will involve and how you can help them prepare for it.  Here you will find documents full of information that new parents of reception children at Ashton Keynes might like to know.

As always should you have any questions please do let us know.
